Unitarian Society Sanctuary & Garden - Santa Barbara Wedding Venue, a beautiful Unitarian Church, is a popular wedding location for locals and destination wedding couples looking for a traditional location in Santa Barbara.


Entering the sanctuary on a sunny day is like stepping into a rainbow.  Beams of sunlight passing through the stained-glass windows bathe the church in vibrant reds, blues, and greens. The church's stained glass windows help to create a pleasant environment for the ceremony.
The Unitarian Society Sanctuary & Garden sanctuary can accommodate up to 285 guests, and our indoor reception hall can accommodate 120 sit-down guests.  There is an adjacent courtyard for larger outdoor receptions/ and or photos as well.

The Unitarian Society Sanctuary & Garden's large courtyard makes a perfect wedding reception area, and the commercial kitchen makes the catering simple and fast. There is also a charming garden enclosed in the back.  The wedding site is also located quite conveniently in the heart of Santa Barbara.

The price for a ceremony includes a rehearsal, staff member who is there to help direct and will run our sound equipment and lights, as well as a room off of the sanctuary for the bridal party to get dressed privately, and the Gardened Courtyard of course.


A full commercial kitchen and separate patio space included when reserving ceremony and reception venues.  Our A/V equipment is excellent for music and slideshows.  We have a great dance floor, tables, and chairs for up to 150 guests. The Sanctuary can accommodate up to 285 guests, and our indoor reception hall can accommodate 120 sit-down guests.  We do have the adjacent courtyard for larger outdoor receptions/ and or photos as well.
