Messi Excludes Grandmother from Wedding



Lionel Messi married his childhood sweetheart, Antonella Roccuzzo at a luxury hotel in their Argentine hometown Rosario. Excluded from wedding festivities Messi’s grandmother along with other family members. Susana Messi Lionel Messi aunt, claims that Messi’s mother is the reason his grandmother and other family members didn't receive invitations to the wedding.

Rosario, the country's third-largest city was a buzz. Organizers for Lionel Messi’s wedding hired up to 300 agents to ‘clean up’ of streets in Rosario which meant moving homeless and street workers. Rosario is rife with drug trafficking and considered one of the most dangerous cities on the South American continent.

A secure route from the airport to the hotel has been set up by local authorities. Deployed to manage Latin America’s ‘wedding of the decade, 450 police officers or security personnel.
