Saint Barbara Event Center – Santa Barbara Wedding Venue, The Saint Barbara Event Center, set among the hills overlooking Santa Barbara and the Channel Islands, offers a stunning setting, unique experience and outstanding facilities. The campus includes 3 main buildings (the Church, the Hall, and the Redding Center) linked by flagstone plazas, walkways and seating areas nestled among picturesque landscaping covering 3.5 acres. The white washed buildings and bright blue tile roofs enhance the stunning views.
The Hall
The Hall is a spacious and open room with high, open-beamed ceilings. Tall arched windows provide guests with spectacular views of the Gaviota Coast and the Santa Ynez Mountains. Oval tables and fabric covered chairs are arranged around a large, wooden dance floor. The Hall accommodates 200 guests for dining and dancing, 300 for dining auditorium style and 400 standing. The Hall is approximately 47 feet by 63 feet. in dimension with 14 feet high beams, the peak of the ceiling is about 20 feet at its highest point. The dance floor in the center of the Hall is built in, on springs, and measures 19 feet by 28 feet.

An open Plaza leads into a smaller patio with a stone, 3-tiered fountain is situated across from an olive tree grove. Veering in the opposite direction is the Terrace. The Patios can be set up for receptions, dinner parties, hors d’oeuvres & bar, buffets or exhibits

The Plaza is a spacious flagstone area enclosed by white walls with stone ledges. This area is ideal for larger outdoor events for up to 200 guests.

The Terrace has an expansive trellis and overlooks a lemon orchard. Panoramic views of the Santa Ynez mountains and the Santa Barbara Channel with wonderful sunsets make a picturesque backdrop for smaller receptions and dinner parties up to 100 guests.
The Redding Center
Across from the Hall and beyond the Patios, a flagstone walkway leads to the Redding Center, a multi-purpose building featuring two meeting rooms (one formal, one informal), classrooms, and limited kitchen facilities. Two sets of French doors open to a patio with spectacular mountain and ocean views. The Redding Center can be used for small receptions with up to 60 guests, meetings and presentations or bridal party preparation.
